The Dakota H3 is Dakota’s very first watch that uses tritium illumination.  Tritium illumination is the use of gaseous tritium, a hydrogen isotope to create visible light.  Tritium emits electrons through beta decay, and when they interact with a phosphor  material, fluorescent light is created, a process called radioluminescence.  4 tritium tubes are used at the 3,6,9 and 12 and on the hands.  Top notch. fashionable, sleek, and functional!
