  1. NOT UP TO ACTIVE OUTDOOR PURSUITS! review by Curt on 3/21/2017

The old design of this watch, which secured the watch with two pins, was far superior to the current version. This version uses just a single pin to connect the watch case to the carabiner, and it has a limited range of motion. I used the watch skiing and it almost immediately broke from the carabiner and was lost.

The current design does allow the watch to be used like a desk clock while traveling, but if you use it for active outdoor pursuits--and I don't know why someone would buy a watch with a tide chart and UV sensor unless you did plan on being active outdoors--it WILL fail as soon as it is flexed beyond its limited range of motion on the 'biner. And there is no warranty on the clip or the case, only the timepiece, so you'll be sorry to have engaged in a $60 experiment.
