Billing and Shipping Address Matching
Both the billing address provided on the watch order, and the billing address on the credit card needs to match for the order to be processed. In the event of a mismatch, a further inspection of addresses will be made. If there is still no match, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
Address Verification of Credit Cards
At present, only a few countries support *AVS on Visa and MasterCard. Notably the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.
American Express does support AVS in most countries.
Cardholders with a bank that does not support AVS may receive an error from our store due to the lack of data.
*The Address Verification System (AVS) is a system used to verify the identity of the person claiming to own the credit card. The system will check the billing address of the credit card provided by the user with the address on file at the credit card company. The other security features for the credit card include the CVV2 number and the expiration date
Shipping charges are created by UPS based on the total estimated weight of the shipment and the destination as created via http://www.ups.com International orders have the option of going with the USPS or UPS at their own discretion. Tracking information however, can only be provided by UPS. Orders shipped by USPS cannot be tracked and therefore delivery cannot be guaranteed. We cannot replace orders shipped via USPS that do not arrive at the intended destination.
Unless otherwise noted, all purchases ship within 48 hours of processing. We ship M-Th before 12pm EST, excluding weekends and holidays. If the items are out of stock at the time of ordering, you will be promptly notified via email.

Please note in order to receive free shipping on any domestic order over $50.00 you must choose FREE SHIPPING in the drop down menu when asked for your specified choice of shipping. Free shipping is UPS ground. We WILL NOT refund shipping if you did not choose the "Free Shipping" box ahead of time when asked at checkout. We apologize for any inconvenience.
All international orders must be shipped to the billing address.
PLEASE NOTE: All international orders may be subject to local taxes, duties, brokerage or customs fees imposed by the receiving country. Dakota Watch Company is NOT responsible for these charges. To determine these charges, please contact your local customs office.
Expedited shipping is available on all US orders. Orders will be processed normally, and shipped per your selected method. Please note that all orders are shipped from our Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you live in a surrounding state, you may wish to select standard ground shipping, as these orders typically arrive 1-2 days after shipping.
We strive to ship most orders within 48 hours from the processing date. However, during peak times such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fathers Day, Mothers Day, Valentines Day, Christmas Day, etc., processing may exceed this time. We give each order our personalized attention, and we appreciate your patience.
Sales Tax is automatically calculated, when applicable, according to the guidelines set up by each individual state.

Items returned or exchanged must be accompanied by the original sales receipt within 30 days from the purchase date. After 30 days of the purchase date, an exchange or repair will be offered depending on the condition of the watch and at the discretion of the company. Merchandise returned purchased on a credit card will be credited against the same charge account. Shipping is not refunded unless the item is defective. In the case of a defective product, please email or call customer service.

**We personally guarantee the internal mechanism of all watches sold against manufacturer's defects. Our Dakota and Berenger watches are guaranteed for five years (unless otherwise noted). Watches returned under our warranty will be repaired by our service technicians at no charge to our customer. External parts such as crystals, cases, stems and bands are not covered under this warranty unless found to have a manufacturer's defect. Watches found to be misused after further inspection at the discretion of the Company, are not covered under the new watch warranty.
We do not trade or sell personal information to third parties. We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you, and are used for internal purposes only. User information allows us to accurately process orders, provide better customer service and improve our website to better suit your needs.
